Date & Tamarind Chicken Wings

Ingredients
– 1 kg chicken wings
– 2 tsp tandoori masala
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– 1 tsp chilli powder
– A splash of olive oil
– 4–5 tbsp Mama Sood’s Date & Tamarind Chutney
Method

In a large bowl, combine the tandoori masala, salt, coriander powder, chilli powder, and olive oil.

Add the chicken wings and mix well so each piece is coated in the spices.

Spoon over the Date & Tamarind Chutney and stir until the wings are generously covered.

Cover and marinate for at least 1–2 hours to let the flavours soak in.

Cook the wings on the barbecue for a smoky finish, or in an air fryer until crispy and golden brown.

Serve hot and enjoy straight away.
Recipe Tips
– For extra flavour, marinate overnight in the fridge.
– These wings are perfect served with a cooling mint yoghurt dip or fresh salad on the side.
